Which course is right for you

Most people arrive unsure which level to start at. This is the quickest way to place yourself.

You have not really used AI yet

Start with an introductory session. You will leave understanding what generative AI actually does, which tool to reach for, and, just as importantly, what you must never paste into one.

You use ChatGPT now and then

This is where most professionals are. The gap is not prompting, it is knowing which parts of your job are worth handing over and building a repeatable way of doing it. Our applied sessions are aimed here.

You want to build with AI

For people going further than using the tools: automating real workflows, or building a product. Founder Launchpad is the deeper track, a rolling coaching programme for people starting an AI-native company.

How we run training

Two formats, depending on whether you are coming as an individual or bringing a team.

Open sessions and seminars

Short evening sessions on a specific topic, open to anyone in Barcelona. This is how most people first meet AI Campus. Upcoming sessions are listed above.

  • Roughly two hours, single session
  • Open to the public, no prerequisites
  • At our campus in Barcelona

In-company training for teams

A full applied programme for one team or a whole department, tailored to the work your people actually do, and fundable through FUNDAE.

  • 20 hours across 5 sessions of 4 hours
  • Half theory, half hands-on practice
  • In person at your offices or our campus, or online
  • Up to 30 people per cohort, in Spanish, Catalan or English

In person or online: which to choose

Almost every AI course sold in Barcelona is online. That is a real choice, not a detail, and it changes what you get out of the day.

In person, at a campus in Barcelona

Someone is in the room while you are stuck. That is the whole difference. Most of the value in a practical AI session comes from the ten minutes where a tool does something you did not expect on your own work, and that is exactly the moment a recording cannot help you.

  • Small groups, so questions get answered as they come up
  • You work on your own files and tasks, not a demo dataset
  • At our campus in Gràcia, or at your offices

Online, live

The right call when a team is split across sites, when travel would cost more than the session, or when a company programme needs to run across several offices at once. Live and interactive, never a recorded course.

  • Same trainer, same exercises, same small-group format
  • Works for distributed teams and multi-site companies
  • Sessions are not sold as pre-recorded video

Our honest advice: if you can get to Barcelona, come in person. Choose online when geography actually forces it, not to save an hour.

What we have run so far

AI Campus started running sessions in Barcelona in May 2026. These are the real numbers from our own booking system, not a marketing estimate. The new campus and the full paid programme open in September 2026.

  • 56 sessions completed since May 2026
  • 84 people who have attended, across 111 registrations
  • 3 languages taught in: Catalan, Spanish and English

Tools you will actually use

Sessions are built on the tools your team already has or is about to adopt: ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Gemini. We focus on choosing the right one for a given task rather than teaching a single vendor, and every exercise runs on real work from the room.

Confidentiality is part of the course, not a footnote

A dedicated block covers what you can and cannot share with an AI tool: client data, addresses, access codes, health or minors' information. It covers GDPR as it applies to daily use, and the real difference between a free account and a company one. For most teams this is the single most valuable session.

Free and paid AI training in Barcelona

Barcelona has genuinely good free options and it is worth knowing them. Barcelona Activa's Cibernàrium runs subsidised digital and AI training for residents, and several universities publish free introductory material. If your goal is a first look at the subject, start there.

Paid training earns its cost when you need something the free tracks do not give you: content built around your own workflows, a small group, someone in the room to unblock you, and, for companies, the documentation and reporting that comes with it. That is what we do. Our own community sessions have been free to attend; team programmes are quoted per company.

Where we teach

Our campus is at Carrer de Jesús 3, in Vila de Gràcia, Barcelona. Our new space opens in September 2026, and that is when the full programme starts. In-company training is delivered at your offices anywhere in the Barcelona area, or online.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a technical background?

No. Our sessions are designed for people with no previous experience of these tools, in plain language. The material assumes you know your own job well, not that you know anything about AI.

What language are the courses taught in?

Spanish, Catalan or English. Open sessions are announced with their language; in-company training is delivered in whichever of the three your team prefers.

Where are the courses held?

At our campus at Carrer de Jesús 3 in Gràcia, Barcelona. In-company training can be delivered at your own offices anywhere in the Barcelona area, or online.

Are the courses in person or online?

Both, and in person is the default. Open sessions and seminars run at our Barcelona campus. In-company training runs at your offices, at our campus, or live online when a team is split across sites. Nothing we sell is a pre-recorded video course.

Is there an in-person AI course in Barcelona for complete beginners?

Yes. The introductory sessions are in person, in a small group, and assume no previous experience with these tools. You work on your own tasks during the session rather than on a demo dataset, which is the part that does not survive being moved online.

How long does a course take?

Open sessions and seminars are usually a single evening of around two hours. The in-company programme is 20 hours, split into 5 sessions of 4 hours, so people can apply what they learned at work between sessions and bring their questions back.

Are the courses free?

Our community sessions have been free to attend. Training programmes for companies are quoted per organisation and are fundable through FUNDAE, which for Spanish employers can cover up to 100% of the cost.

Can my company fund this through FUNDAE?

Yes. Spanish employers have an annual FUNDAE training credit and our programmes qualify. We help prepare the justification file so the credit covers the cost.

Do participants get a certificate?

Participants on the in-company programme receive attendance and completion records, a competency check and versioned course materials, which are useful as evidence of AI literacy measures under Article 4 of the EU AI Act.

When does the new programme start?

From September 2026, when our new space in Barcelona opens. Sessions that are already open for registration are listed at the top of this page.
