FUNDAE-funded AI training for your team in Barcelona

FUNDAE (formación bonificada) is the Spanish system that lets companies recover the cost of staff training by deducting it from the social-security contributions they already pay. Each company has an annual credit for this.

It depends on cohort size, but the point of FUNDAE is that an eligible company can recover up to 100% of the cost within its annual credit, so the net cost can be effectively zero. We give you a clear quote before you commit.

Any company that pays social-security contributions in Spain and has training credit available. It applies whether you are a small business or a large employer.

Every company that pays social-security contributions in Spain gets a training credit each year, with a minimum of 420 euros even for the smallest companies. The amount grows with the size of your workforce, and unused credit expires at the end of the year. We help you check what you have available.

The ones your team will actually use day to day: ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Gemini, plus the AI features inside your existing tools. We adapt the toolset to your company's setup and policies.

Your company does, or its gestoría. The filing is made by the employer rather than the training provider, and the course has to be communicated to FUNDAE before it starts. We prepare everything the filing needs: the training programme, attendance records, the competency check and completion certificates. If you would rather hand it over, we work with a partner who manages the filing for you.

Yes. We run FUNDAE-funded training from 10 participants. Below that the numbers do not work for either side, and a group that small loses the shared practice that makes the sessions useful. For one or two people, the open sessions in our public programme are the better route.

Yes. In person is the default, at our Barcelona campus or your offices, and it is what most teams choose. When staff are split across sites we run it live online, or hybrid with part of the group in the room. FUNDAE accepts all three formats, and the attendance evidence differs by format, which we prepare either way.

Yes, and it is most of the preparation. Exercises are built on your own tasks and documents, so a hotel, a manufacturer and a professional-services firm each get different examples. We ask participants for their use cases before the course and build the sessions around them. That adaptation is included and is not billed as a separate design fee.

Plan on about three weeks. The course has to be communicated to FUNDAE before the first session, and the needs assessment and content adaptation come before that. Unused credit expires at the end of the calendar year, so December courses need booking earlier than you would expect.

In person at our Barcelona campus or at your offices, for 10 to 30 people per cohort, with live online and hybrid also available. In Spanish, Catalan or English.

It does. The course produces an evidence pack (attendance, completion, a competency check and versioned materials) that helps you meet and evidence your AI-literacy measures under Article 4 of the EU AI Act. It does not by itself make your organisation AI Act compliant.
